In March 2007, after serving over five (5) years under the leadership and tutelage of Bishop Melvin Williams of the Temple of Judah Ministries, Pastor Anthony Franklin was called by God

to start The Restoration Place. The first members of the church were his immediate family.

The Restoration Place originally worshipped at the Meadowbrook High School and later met at Hopkins Road Elementary School. After a great deal of hard work by members and volunteers, under the supervision of Brother Roland Wright, our first service was held on Sunday, August 22, 2010, in our newly renovated building at 4605 W. Broad Street. We are grateful to God for allowing us to come this far by faith and we anticipate a greater manifestation of His power and presence.

The foundation of the church is laid, souls are being saved and God is adding to the church committed and dedicated Christians to work in the vineyard. As of June 2010, there were over 100 members of the church and several ministries are in place. We no longer count members knowing that we all belong to the Body of Christ.

The mandate for The Restoration Place is to restore faith in a sacred place (the church) with the focus being obedience to the will of God. In our obedience, we believe that all of our needs shall be met by the Father.
